Hey everyone so I found a couple intersting readings by Judith Butler that relate to this past week's discussions.

They are both fairly short. Given that no one contested to the earlier post this week siding with Fraser the first reading is pretty interesting. While Butler doesn't mention Rorty (and in fact in Rorty's essay he 'critiques' Butler's "merely cultural") she does provide a valid point contesting Fraser's "cultural recogntion" arguing for an analysis that includes the production of labour as inherently producing bodies (i.e. racialized, gendered, sexualized bodies) among other things.
The second one is also very interesting but not as directly related to Fraser and Rorty. It is an exchange between Ernesto Laclau and Butler on equality.
