racist thinking is unethical

Taking the position that racial thinking is unethical, our current social norms become very problematic.  Within our own government, racial thinking has been used as a tool.  Police could stop and search someone just if they fit into a suspicious profile; which is mainly determined by race. I believe it is completely unethical for one to stand on a threshold and prejudicially  judge another based on epidermal differences.  Bringing Kant into this discussion; his categorical imperative further shows how unethical racial thinking can be. If a universal law existed that race was reason enough to prejudicially judge someone, this world would be very problematic.  Racial thinking is blind in recognizing personality and the inner characteristics of individuals.
